A Question Every Developer Is Asking
As generative AI moves from novelty to standard tool in the modern development workflow, a sharper question keeps surfacing in engineering teams across the industry: is traditional software engineering becoming obsolete? The webinar takes that question head-on, examining AI's practical impact on the developer role, the relevance of today's technical skills, and the competencies that will define the next generation of software engineers.
From Code-Writer to Software Architect
The session is structured around a deliberate shift in mindset: moving from the developer-as-code-writer to the developer-as-architect. Attendees will leave with a clearer view of how to assess AI's impact on their own role, evaluate which technical skills remain durable, and build new competencies in system orchestration and AI collaboration that position them as designers of intelligent software systems rather than line-by-line authors.

Muhammad Ruhaimi bin Habibollah is a Senior Software Engineer at Ørsted, with more than ten years of experience across enterprise applications, performance engineering, data platforms, cloud modernisation, and AI-enabled systems. He brings an industry perspective grounded in shipping production software inside one of the world's largest renewable-energy companies.
