The IEEE Computer Society Malaysia Chapter and the Centre of Research for Cyber Security & Network (CSNET), Universiti Malaya are jointly organising a webinar titled "From Grammar Checks to Autonomous Agents: Operationalising AI for Real Productivity" on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (MYT).
Moving Beyond Basic AI Assistance
The session explores the critical shift from basic AI assistance to Agentic AI: systems designed to independently execute multi-step workflows rather than merely answer simple questions. It invites professionals to stop treating AI like a glorified thesaurus and start using it as a practical layer for real task delegation.
Operationalising AI in Daily Work
Participants will learn how to move beyond grammar checks, content polishing, and one-off chat prompts toward structured delegation with autonomous AI systems. The webinar will break down how agentic workflows operate, what makes them useful in real organisational settings, and how professionals can use AI to create measurable productivity gains in daily work.
Through practical examples and implementation-oriented discussion, the session will show how AI can support workflows such as research preparation, document handling, task coordination, knowledge management, reporting, and decision support. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to design, supervise, and safely integrate autonomous AI systems into their professional routines.
